OVERVIEW

About Eric L. Toscano
I am a San Francisco-based civil litigation attorney passionate about representing clients—particularly tenants, individuals, and small businesses—in legal disputes. I am the founder and principal attorney at Toscano Law. My civil litigation practice focuses primarily on defending commercial and residential tenants (eviction/unlawful detainer defense and plaintiff-side tenant litigation against abusive landlords), real estate law, and general business law. I enjoy pro bono work, particularly in the area of immigration law.

Before founding Toscano Law, I worked in the intellectual property litigation practice group at a large international firm. Although my practice focused principally on patent litigation, I also gained experience in trademark litigation, trade secret litigation, financial services litigation, general commercial litigation, landlord-tenant law, bankruptcy law, and receivership law.

I am active in the Bar Association of San Francisco, where I currently serve as Vice President of the Barristers Club's Board of Directors. I am also a member of the San Francisco Tenants Union, the Italian American Bar Association of Northern California, the American Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the California Receivers Forum.
