Timothy Smith graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Pre-Law. He then earned his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in downtown Detroit. During law school, Tim clerked for a metropolitan Detroit-based insurance defense firm.
