Ryan is a Raleigh native and Enloe High School alumnus. He got his BA from NC State University and his JD from UNC. After law school Ryan worked for two years as a prosecutor in the Wake County District Attorney's Office. While working in the DA's office Ryan prosecuted hundreds of cases, particularly DWI/DUI cases. Ryan went to work at the Wake County criminal defense firm of Manning & Crouch in 2006. He left that law firm in 2010 to start his own firm. Ryan focuses his practice on criminal defense and DWI/DUI defense.
