Ms. Russell was raised in Northern California and attended California State University, Fresno as a member of the Smittcamp Family Honors College. She competed for four years as a member of the Fresno State Mock Trial team, completing over one hundred trials and winning numerous awards for her performance as a student attorney and witness. Carolyn (“Dazi”) Russell Wallace was born and raised in Iowa City. She left to attend college in North Carolina, returned to Iowa City for law school, and began practicing at the firm in October 2013.

Carolyn maintains a general law practice that includes both transactional and litigation components. On the transactional side, Carolyn assists clients with estate planning, real estate matters, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and other general transactional issues. Carolyn’s litigation practice focuses on defending physicians in medical malpractice cases. Carolyn particularly enjoys legal research and writing, and she routinely assists clients with appellate matters.

Ron Koksal was born in Russell, Kansas and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1972. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1973, and is admitted to practice before various federal courts and the United States Supreme Court.

Ron and his wife Judi have two children: Zack and Luke. He enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, Tennessee and Kansas basketball, reading, cooking and traveling to destinations of Judi’s choice (!) and with friends to golf destinations such as South Carolina, Ireland and Scotland.
