Alain Rivas’ desire to focus exclusively on criminal and traffic defense led him to join forces with Robert Skubiak in 1999 to form Skubiak & Rivas, P.A. Since then, the firm has evolved into Central Florida’s most recognizable one of its type, gaining the majority of its clients from referrals by former clients—the highest form of flattery.

Rachael was born in Detroit, Michigan, and raised in the Midwest. She graduated from Indiana University in 2009, and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2012. During her education, she studied abroad in Guanajuato, Mexico. She also served as the Vice President of the Hispanic Law Society, and interned at the Immigrants’ and Language Rights Center at Indiana Legal Services, and in the legal department at the Julian Center, a women’s shelter in Indianapolis.
