Born in Tacoma, Nick is a life-long Washingtonian.

He knows first-hand how difficult it can be to make ends meet; he weathered the Great Recession with his family, and grew up in a middle-class neighborhood in Spokane where everyone took care of each other.

For that reason, Nick has always gravitated toward helping others. After paying his way through college at the University of Washington by working 30 hours a week as a telemarketer, he attended Harvard Law School where he focused on all things having to do with money and families.
