Michael was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He studied history and economics at Texas A&M University where he graduated in 2008. He received his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law where he was a quarter-finalist in the Garland R. Walker Memorial mock trial competition.

Since earning his license to practice law in 2012, he has gained substantial experience by ardently representing individuals in insurance disputes, catastrophic injury suits, and eminent domain matters.
