I was born and raised in a small town on the northeast edge of Brown County, Wisconsin. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition, I also spent a semester as a visiting Student at Marquette University of Law. While in law school, I served as Assistant Editor for the William Mitchell Law Review.
