John P. O’Neil has been a partner at Elk & Elk Co., Ltd since 2012. He focuses primarily on catastrophic loss cases and wrongful death lawsuits. Prior to working at Elk & Elk, John spent 14 years at one of Ohio's top defense law firms. John has successfully tried more than 80 jury trials in various areas of law, including medical malpractice, transportation, personal injury, premises liability, and others.

For more than two decades Shawn has advised individuals, businesses, landowners, and public entities, throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington on various and often complex legal matters. Jennifer has been working closely with Neil since 2018. She is originally from a small beach town in Orange County, California. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. After surviving the Chicago winters, she moved to Denver, Colorado to enjoy the mountains and all the outdoor activities this wonderful city has to offer.
