A lifelong native of Florida, Joel was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL, were he obtained both his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor from Florida State University. Upon graduating from law school, Joel moved to Pensacola, FL to serve as a prosecutor in the State Attorney’s Office of the First Judicial Circuit of Florida. As a prosecutor, he gained immediate and invaluable trial experience where he handled 15 jury trials to verdict as first chair, as well as sitting first or second chair in dozens of other jury and bench trials.
