I graduated from the University of Louisville in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. I went on to attend the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 2000. After graduating from law school, I began my legal career at the Jefferson County Public Defenders Office. There, I honed my skills defending the accused.
