In 2003, Carl R. Gustafson graduated from UCLA Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors in History. In 2005, he was a legal intern for Global Justice in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he drafted sections of human rights situation reports and submitted them to the United Nations and other international bodies. He also researched issues of international jurisdiction and the enforcement of international treaties. While aboard this U.S. Naval vessel, he defended the United States while visiting and taking in the cultural values of many other countries such as Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Italy and Greece. Dusty was born in Spokane Washington, went to North Central High, then the Gonzaga for college and law school in 1980 He worked as a law clerk at the Washington Court of Appeals,was associated with Holme, Roberts & Owen in Denver, then with Bob Anderson, Carl Maxey, Bob Henderson and finally Russ Van Camp in Spokane. He has been running his own firm for 8 years now doing primarily Social Security and Personal Injury law.
