Lex excelled in extracurricular activities; serving as a Student Senator, Cicerone (student ambassador), Homecoming Director, Associate General Chair for Homecoming, Vice President of Beta Theta Pi, member of Florida Blue Key, and was President of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honorary Society.
