I was born and raised in northeast Indiana just outside of the small town of Churubusco. I inherited a strong work ethic from my father who had his own construction business. After high school, I attended college at Butler University in Indianapolis. While there I had the honor of serving as a member of the University Judicial Board, as the President of the Latino Student Organization, and as a student liaison on the University Neighborhood Operational Team.
