Jacob Shapiro grew up with a disabled father and attributes his interest in helping injured people to his upbringing. After graduating as a valedictorian from Cupertino High School, Mr. Shapiro attended UC Berkeley where he was a Regent Scholar, Alumni Scholar and finished with High Honors majoring in Political Science.
