I have been a civil trial lawyer since 1982. I have handled thousands of cases over my career. I have tried hundreds of cases before judges and juries, and have about one hundred appeals. This experience benefits clients because I can be more efficient and am rarely surprised by the moves of an opponent. Courtney grew up in Mid-Michigan and earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Central Michigan University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then attended Michigan State University College of Law, earning her Juris Doctor, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
