Marshall Schaap was born and raised in Ocala, FL, as were several generations of his family before him. He is proud to have graduated from Belleview High School, where he was the starting tight end for two playoff football teams. He went to the University of Florida on a football scholarship. After two years at UF, he transferred to the University of Wyoming, where he graduated with a business degree.
