Born in Pittsburgh, Bill is the son of a city firefighter. After growing up in Pittsburgh’s Garfield section and in Penn Hills, Pa., he worked his way through college and law school, earning his Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University.

Mr. Goodrich serves as President of the law firm of Goodrich & Geist, P.C. He received his B.A. in 1974 and his J.D. in 1979 from Duquesne University. Bob's current practice focuses on trademark law, copyright law, trade secrets, intellectual property licensing, employment and labor law, commercial and real estate litigation. He also has worked extensively on complex and class action litigation. Bob is a member of The International Trademark Association (INTA) and is actively involved in international trademark registrations, with agents established throughout the world. He teaches both trademark and copyright law at the University of Montana School of Law, as an adjunct professor.
