Kaylan graduated from the University of Houston in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and minor in Political Science. Kaylan also has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University and attended law school at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. While in law school, Kaylan studied in London and took classes in Private International Law and International Criminal Law.
