Michael R. Shaffer earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 from Michigan State University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1999 from Wayne State University Law School. Shaffer joined Buckfire Law in September 2022 with extensive experience in Michigan’s No-Fault Law and auto accident litigation. Prior to joining Buckfire Law, he worked for 17 years for a well-known plaintiff firm specializing in auto law. They are the proud parents of three sons. His oldest son, Daniel is a student at Carlow Univerity and working at HVL Laboratories. His younger son, Joseph is currently serving in the United States Air Force.

I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mineral Engineering for several mineral production companies. Afterward had gone to school for my MBA and subsequently obtained my law degree. I have worked as a lawyer for a little over 20 years, however, I worked as a paralegal for 7 1/2 prior thereto.
