Joaquin Arturo Revelo is a U.S. army veteran, criminal defense attorney and writer living in Bakersfield. Originally from El Salvador, he moved to the U.S. in the 1980's at the beginning of that country's civil war. He left the U.S. Army after the conclusion of the first Afghan campaign and moved to Kern County from San Francisco in 2005. He continues to write and practice law, mainly in criminal defense, in Bakersfield.
