Scott J. Sumner, J.D. is a graduate of Michigan State University, (1986) and Michigan State University/Detroit College of Law, (1989). He is a founding member of Sumner & Associates, P.C., and is its President and principal shareholder. Scott was the President of the Rochester Bar Association (2004-2005). He is a member of the State Bar Association and a member of the Oakland and Macomb County Bar Associations, since 1990, and is licensed to practice in the United States Federal Court. He is also a licensed and experienced Real Estate Broker and Residential Builder.

After becoming an attorney, Mr. Sumner continued to teach aspiring paralegals, and has taught programs in both North Carolina and Colorado. Prior to moving to Colorado in 2000, Mr. Sumner worked for a major insurance company as in-house counsel for the claim’s department. These experiences have culminated in a wealth of experience in the areas of Workers’ Compensation and Bankruptcy. Jerold W. Hilary is a graduate of University of Oregon and Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College. He is an active member in the Tigard, Oregon business community and is a past president of the Tigard Chamber of Commerce. His practice focuses on business law, estate planning and probate and trust administration. Steve graduated from the USC School of Law in 1992. As a student, he was named to the "Order of the Wig and Robe" for superior academic achievement. Additionally, Steve was part of the Mock Trial Competition winning team at USC, which represented USC in the Southeastern regional of the national competition. Steve served as a state court prosecutor from 1992 to 1994. His primary case load consisted of prosecuting DUI, Felony DUI, Reckless Homicide and Traffic offenses.
