Rafael Gonzalez was born in South Florida and knows the state and its laws through and through. Beginning his pursuit in the field of law, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida International University. While he pursued his undergrad, he was working in the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office.

He completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law and immediately went on to work with several firms in the Downtown Miami and Hialeah areas.

Currently, he is certified in all Florida State Courts and the Southern District’s Federal Courts.

I was born in Cuba and moved to South Florida as a child with my widowed mother. My mother’s relentlessness motivated me to pursue a career in the legal field and to zealously fight for those who have been wronged. In 2013 I became a cum laude graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in Political Science. I also completed both a certificate in political campaigning and in political affairs.
