Chris is a lifelong resident of Birmingham. He graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2008 with a degree in English. During his time at Birmingham-Southern he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and earned the Robert Hewlin-Jackson Award for Scholastic Achievement.

Chris attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and graduated in 2011. During his time at Cumberland, Chris was a Senior Member of the Trial Advocacy Board. Ms. Burke is a Partner with the Law Offices of Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C., an employment discrimination firm. The firm handles employment related matters in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Ms. Burke has tried numerous federal jury trials to successful verdicts on the plaintiff’s side, and frequently litigates in federal courts throughout PA and NJ, and DE. Ms. Burke’s employment litigation background also includes appellate work, arguing before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, including one panel with retired Associate Supreme Court Justice, Sandra Day O'Connor, sitting by designation.
