An alumna of Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C., Ms. Kilpatrick serves on the Supreme Court of Nevada's Bench Bar Committee and Criminal Procedure Committee. She accrued vast criminal defense experience as a deputy public defender in Elko, Nevada. As a juvenile justice advocate in Elko, she established a myriad of policy improvements such as abolishing the denial of "credit for time served" to children incarcerated prior to disposition as well as eliminating the juvenile detention center's policy that denied parents visitation with their children. Mr. Kilpatrick is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations and sits on the Rhode Island Federal Bench/Bar Committee.
