Brian is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2000. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, and he has served on numerous committees including the Ethics Advisory Committee, Professional Responsibility Committee, and the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.

Brian and his wife, Amy, have two sons. Brian has served as a volunteer youth soccer coach for more than 10 years. He is also an avid band parent and enjoys playing computer/video/board games with his boys in his spare time.
