Brian grew up in northeast Mississippi near the birthplace of Elvis. He earned undergraduate degrees in Music Education and Performance from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Music degree in Trombone Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Kris began her legal career in Southern California in 1994, working for large law firms doing insurance bad faith litigation. Due to her knowledge of insurance bad faith law, Kris then moved in house to do research and coverage opinion letters for a well known insurance company.
