My approach to law is informed by struggles I've witnessed, studied, and experienced. I was a college dropout when I decided to become a lawyer, but the frustration and heartache on the news each day compelled me to get involved. During my undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, I worked for a group-home providing direct care for men with mental disabilities where I learned that the only thing separating me from them was that the world approved of my quirks and not theirs.
