Biography

Originally from Indonesia, I moved to Houston when I was 14 years old. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston, with a major in Political Science and a minor in French.

I graduated from South Texas College of Law, where I first began representing indigent clients in an advanced family law clinic. During law school, I also worked as a legal assistant to a family lawyer who specialized in complex divorce and custody proceedings. The intricate legal issues presented in those cases continued to drive my passion in the area of family law. I have been practicing family law full time since 2012.

I find that helping people during the height of their emotional distress extremely rewarding. I care about my clients and I can sincerely empathize with many of the emotions my clients feel during custody disputes.

I enjoy getting to know my clients and strategizing while carefully considering the particular facts involved in each client’s case. My goal is to be able to present my clients with the best options available to them and their families. I pride myself on my ability to find strategies that maximize efficiency. I love being able to calm my clients’ nerves and allow them to leave my office knowing we are a team and they can rely on me to lead them through their stressful situation.

Outside of work, I am active in the community. I volunteer with Habitat of Humanity and I also give my time to the Houston Volunteer Lawyer Program. I sing with the Houston Symphony Chorus and perform with the Houston Symphony regularly. I am also a member of the Burta Rhodes Inns of Court and Houston Bar Association.
