- Q. I'm needing to know if I have a case against anyone and if so who at the hospital that did my surgery and messed up .
- A: I'm sorry this happened to you. You may have a case. You should consider contacting a medical malpractice attorney in your area to determine if your doctor deviated from the standard of care, by failing to follow practices and safeguards or practiced medicine in ways not accepted by the scientific/medical community.
- Q. How can I obtain information about Texas malpractice cases regarding failure to diagnose a birth defect prenatally?
- A: Many major courthouses have a law library. Law libraries often have free access to online legal research services. You should be able to pull all the information you're looking for this way.
- Q. If a person/ thief stole a truck of mine.in S.C. He was charged, grand thief.. Can I , the owner drop the charges?
- A: I'm sorry this happened to you. The state prosecutor represents the residents of your state. They are the ones brinnging the charges and will likely continue to do so. If an alleged victim refuses to cooperate and the case goes to trial, it could make it more difficult for the state to prosecute the case. You could contact the prosecutor, voice your wishes, and at the very least have your voice be heard in the matter.
