2 Questions Answered

Q. My ex picked up our daughter yesterday for his visitation day now he is refusing to give her back til May 1st what can
A: Call law enforcement. Some agencies help with matters like this. If your court is still open, you will be able to file a motion for contempt since you have a court order. Hire an attorney ASAP to help you.
Q. If I'm married to the kids mother why do they still take child support out of my checks
A: Likely because there is a child support order that has been issued. Did you get notice from CSEA? If the two of you are still living together then child support would not be proper. If you're living separately, then the order will issue as it will be assumed that you are not providing support. You should have received notice of an administrative hearing and an opportunity to be heard. This is all based on the laws in OH. Although likely the same, I don't know what PA would do.
