I walked away from my final divorce hearing feeling more educated, secure, confident, and most importantly DIVORCED on my terms. I reached out to Attorney Toby Kinsler/Wisconsin Family Lawyers after feeling overwhelmed because my first lawyer left me feeling confused, hopeless, and homeless. After a short time speaking with Toby, I felt informed. He got to know what I needed and why. He explained in detail my options and laid out several proposals. Toby listened to my questions and worked out an individual and unique proposal to address the changes necessary in the marital settlement agreement to move my divorce forward with my needs addressed. He explained what my rights were, what actions needed to be taken and how he would attack and implement said proposal rapidly. After Toby explained everything I felt much more secure. His expertise with the laws, unique skills, and strategies impressed me though out the process. During this whole time he kept me aware of progress and the proceedings without overwhelming me with unnecessary stress and confusion. He was able to effectively divide the assets and belongings required by law while making sure I felt financially stable moving forward. Simply put, he had the ideas and the knowledge to make my life secure again. I feel that the plan Toby designed and executed was the best case scenario for my situation, and I was able to move forward in a home, with the belongings I deserve as fairly as possible. In the days leading up to the final hearing, he guided me with directions, answered questions with care, and provided details to help me feel confident in my decisions. We even practiced the final day situation so I was completely comfortable, with no surprises, confusion or stress. I walked out of court knowing I had done everything I could to make sure I was an advocate for myself filled with knowledge and security.
