Tiffany Ballenger Floyd
Protecting Your Legacy | Estate Planning + Asset Protection Attorney | CA + NV
Hi! I’m Tiffany Ballenger Floyd - I help clients with estate planning, business planning, + asset protection.
By integrating my bespoke planning philosophy with efficient systems + technology, our ultimate goal is to provide a warm, authentic, + seamless planning experience for our amazing clients.
One-size does NOT fit all: No cookie-cutter form documents here! Rather, we serve as a trusted advisor, providing conscious counsel + effective solutions based on your particular needs + goals, helping with:
ESTATE PLANNING: Wills + Trusts (+ all the rest)... whether you’re brand-new to estate planning, or need to make updates to an existing plan, I offer guidance through an admittedly morbid subject area. I hope that by offering knowledge, insight, and meticulous attention-to-detail in a friendly environment, our clients are able to make the best possible choices for themselves, their families, + their loved ones.
ASSET PROTECTION: I take a mindful, contentious approach to asset protection planning by designing comprehensive strategies – often involving careful layering of trusts and other entities. The goal isn’t just to merely safeguard our clients’ assets, but to ultimately provide them with a feeling of calm, control, + clarity.
BUSINESS CREATION + PLANNING: As a business owner myself, I get it, because I’ve stood in your shoes! I’ve worked with all types of businesses and business owners, from startup founders to long-held family businesses, as well as high-net worth owners planning for significant liquidity events.
??!? Overwhelmed and don't know where to start? ??!?
From initial plan design to ongoing counsel + maintenance, me and my team at Phillips Ballenger Estate Attorneys can help guide you through the process.

- Q. In the state of Nevada, will filing a Homestead Exemption do anything if our home is in our Living Trust?
- A: Nevada homestead exemption protects the equity in your primary residence (w/ proper homestead filing) up to $550K- cheap & easy protection! A revocable living trust typically does not provide ANY asset protection to the creators of the trust, so it's probably wise to file your homestead. It can be done when a home is owned by a revocable trust.
