Tamiaya J. Mosesly
Tamiaya J. Mosesly is an Associate Attorney at the Williams Law Group, where she is devoted to the practice of Family Law. With her 20 years of practice experience, she dedicated over a decade to handling a wide array of family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, parenting time, alimony, paternity, grandparent rights, domestic violence, mediation, and more. Her approach is both compassionate and aggressive, being well-trained as both a litigator and negotiator, and having successfully tried and settled hundreds of cases.
Tamiaya earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University, graduating cum laude. She pursued legal studies at Fordham University School of Law in New York City, where she graduated and was actively involved as a staff editor on the Fordham International Law Journal, competed in the ABA Negotiation Competition, and completed extensive mediation and negotiation clinical and simulation training.
During her time in law school, Tamiaya interned for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey under the Honorable Nicholas H. Politan. Post-law school, she further honed her skills by attending the National Institute for Trial Advocacy’s Domestic Violence Intensive Trial Skills Training, receiving a completion certificate after intensive training in all aspects of Domestic Violence Family Law trial litigation.
Tamiaya is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, and D.C. Throughout her career, she has served on committees that have successfully worked to revise and amend Family Law statutes. Previously, as a Managing Attorney, she trained attorneys, paralegals, law clerks, and legal advocates in effective Family Law advocacy. Tamiaya has also been a consultant for Family Law practices, where she her knowledge and skill in building successful Family Law programs, community outreach, funding development, and Family Law litigation training skills were highly prized.
