: Current; Activities: Mrs. Roney is a member of Erie County Bar Association, American and New York State Bar Associations; Western New York Defense Trial Lawyers Association; Defense Research Institute; International Association of Defense Counsel (Chair of the Diversity Committee); Western New York Trial Lawyers Association; National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (Executive Committee). Additionally, Mrs. Roney currently serves on the Board of the Volunteer Lawyers Project and is a member of the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Eighth Judicial District. She has also served on court-appointed advisory committees for the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, including Merit Selection Panels for the selection and reappointment of United States Magistrate Judges, the Civil Justice Reform Act Advisory Group and a Task Force on Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Fairness.
