I am a 6th generation Texan and graduated from the University of Texas in 1996. I attended the University of Houston Law Center and began my legal career as a prosecutor with the Montgomery County Attorney’s Office, followed by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. There, I served as a misdemeanor and felony prosecutor for 9 years.
However, the toughest job I ever had came after leaving the DA’s office, when I took a break to raise my two beautiful daughters for 10 years. As rewarding as that period was, all good things must come to an end, and I found a renewed calling in defending the rights of the accused. I returned to legal practice as a criminal defense attorney—a calling that is certainly not for the faint of heart.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking for teenagers, working in my garden, and identifying bird calls with my favorite bird sound app. Despite these tranquil pursuits, make no mistake, in the courtroom, I am relentless.
