Spencer practices employment, civil rights and personal injury law. He is dedicated to representing employees in employment disputes and individuals and their families in personal injury cases.
Since 2005, Spencer has litigated discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour, retaliation, and other employment disputes, such as contract breach and commission cases. He also litigates vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, and civil rights claims. His legal experience dates back to 1996. He has appeared in Northern District Federal Courts, California State Superior Courts, the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, the California Department of Labor Standards Enforcement, the Merit System Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Public Employees Relations Board, and the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. The firm also regularly counsels and represents businesses in employment matters.
Spencer graduated with a J.D./M.B.A. in May, 2004 from Golden Gate University School of Law and GGU's Ageno School of Business. He graduated with honors in both disciplines, and was awarded the “Outstanding Student” by former Magistrate Maria Elena James and GGU's Honors Lawyering Program faculty in 2004.
