As part of my case I asked her to negotiate with a corporate entity. When I discharged her to engage another attorney, he contacted the institution and the relevant parties did not know who she was. My case did not progress for months. I adamantly instructed
her that I did not want to go to court but rather employ amicable negotiations. She filed a motion compelling us to go to court without my consent. When we did get to court, her '"of council" attorney, who actually has her own firm, effectively outsourcing my case without telling me, arrived completely unprepared. In fact she had to ask opposing council questions about points of law, and this is in the official transcript, opposing council stated that Depalma and her "of council" representative changed a critical document without alerting opposing council and filed it with court, exposing me to the penalty of having to pay my interlocutor's legal fees. When confronted about this act she did not object. She just sat stone faced and stared straight ahead. But, my dissatisfaction is not just about money. Her conduct irreparably damaged my relationship with my daughter. Hiring Hannon Depalma had a tragic effect on my life. Please don't hire Sheerene DePalma. You are better off being Pro Se.
