Shane helps seriously injured people put their lives back together. Shane grew up in Millcreek, Utah. He attended the University of Utah, graduating as a Lowell L. Bennion Service Learning Scholar with a degree in Political Science (English minor). He attended Cornell Law School in New York, where he served on the Cornell Law Review. Shane also worked as an extern for Chief Judge Frederick Scullin, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. After law school, Shane worked as a corporate defense attorney at the prestigious corporate law firm Snell & Wilmer. Shane later worked as a corporate defense attorney at the largest law firm in the world, DLA Piper.
He represented some of the largest corporations in the world, litigating complex cases across the country, including a wide variety of personal injury and product liability lawsuits. Shane gave up his corporate defense practice to help seriously injured people put their lives back together. He accepted a position with a national personal injury law firm, serving as the firm’s managing attorney for the Intermountain region. In that position, he litigated complex personal injury actions across Utah and Arizona. Shane subsequently founded Gosdis Law to focus on representing seriously injured people in Utah.
Shane loves fighting for them against the large corporations and insurance companies he once defended in his previous life as a corporate defense attorney. Shane leverages his corporate defense background to maximize recoveries for his clients throughout Utah. Shane received a perfect 10 rating from the attorney rating service Avvo.
