Sarah W. Anderson is the owner of SWA Law LLC and LegallyCyber.com, focusing on cyber incident response, regulatory compliance, enhanced cybersecurity practices, and technology contract negotiations for both public and private entities. She conducts cybersecurity law seminars nationwide, addressing non-profits, trade associations, and government bodies. With experience in over 100 cyber incident responses, Sarah provides guidance to leaders and technology professionals on liability prevention and mitigation before, during, and after incidents.
Sarah actively raises awareness of cybersecurity legal and technical issues through www.LegallyCyber.com. Before establishing SWA Law, she served as in-house counsel for a technology non-profit and was an equity partner at a major law firm, focusing on toxic tort and property litigation. She is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas, with pending licenses in Pennsylvania and Illinois.
Additionally, Sarah is a former chief legal counsel for the State of Louisiana ESF-17 (cyber incident response and management) and a veteran Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, recognized as a distinguished military graduate.
