Samuel Earl Whitley

Mr. Whitley represents several publicly traded companies and investment companies. Consequently, he deals extensively with issues arising under the federal securities statutes (1933 Act, 1934 Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act) and their state counterparts, as well as the business practices particular to the corporate finance and financial services sectors.

Mr. Whitley serves as outside general counsel to several companies, both public and private. He handles sophisticated corporate and securities matters for domestic and foreign businesses and has represented clients in complex litigation matters. He often works with senior management to create innovative solutions in a wide variety of business scenarios.
