Robert W. Walker
Attorney Walker graduated in 1983 from the prestigious Suffolk University Law School located in Boston, Massachusetts. Following his graduation, Attorney Walker was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and was employed in the private sector by a former Massachusetts Superior Court Judge and former Massachusetts Assistant District Attorney until he formed his current firm, Walker & Associates. Attorney Walker remained domiciled and engaged in the practice of law in Massachusetts until he relocated back to his family’s ranch located in Union Grove, Alabama for the purpose of caring for his ailing mother. Upon his return to Alabama, Attorney Walker was admitted to the Alabama Bar. For over 30 years, litigation has been the primary focus of Attorney Walker’s law practice. Attorney Walker has participated in excess of 300 jury trials and an equal number of arbitration and mediation proceedings. Approximately sixty (60%) of his civil litigation practice consists of personal injury cases involving, but not limited to: divorce matters; elder abuse claims; will contests; motor vehicle accidents; medical malpractice; premises liability; dram shop liability; and defective products. The remainder of Attorney Walker's civil litigation practice concentrated on matters relating to business disputes including, but not limited to: commercial fraud and misrepresentation; breach of contract; civil RICO; and insurance law. Attorney Walker is also a registered Alabama State Court Mediator and Arbitrator with the Alabama Center For Dispute Resolution having successfully completed comprehensive training in The Mediation Process and the Skills of Conflict Resolution, Divorce and Family Mediation, and Domestic Violence in Divorce and Family Mediation.
