Following his graduation from the University of Minnesota Law School, Rick volunteered with Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services where he represented low-income clients in rental repair, eviction, and tenant remedy action cases. He also received a graduate fellowship from the University of Minnesota Law School to continue at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services.
