Preston Caleb Patterson

I became a lawyer for a cliched but true reason - I wanted to help people. Today, that desire remains the heart of my law practice. I am passionate about helping my clients solve their problems - whether that’s how to start a new business, understanding what their contract says, or planning for their family’s future.

I cut my teeth at “Big Law” firms, where I learned how to analyze, research, negotiate, and strategize from some of the best attorneys in the state of Texas. Over the course of my career, my natural curiosity and love of learning have given me experience in numerous areas of law and as both plaintiff and defense counsel. This experience helps me understand and analyze a client’s situation so that I can provide a complete and well-thought-out assessment and plan of action.

Writing has been a hobby and passion of mine for most of my life (I earned a degree in English) and that’s true in my professional life as well. I think the law is complicated enough; lawyers shouldn’t make it any harder with poorly drafted agreements or documents. I know that a well-drafted contract, estate plan, or other agreement can save my clients countless time and money down the road by avoiding future disputes. It is always my goal to be clear, concise, and conclusive.
