Philip J. Cohen, New Jersey personal injury attorney, has garnered extensive experience representing individuals in Mercer County and throughout New Jersey in personal injury and civil litigation cases for over 25 years. Mr. Cohen graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 1993 from Widener University School of Law, while a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. This membership recognizes law students that attained excellence in the art of appellate advocacy. As a partner in the the Law Offices of Kamensky Cohen Riechelson, he represents plaintiffs with claims involving car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, slip and fall and other premises liability matters, product liability, and medical malpractice, in addition to tackling challenging civil and commercial litigation cases.
Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, having attained admission into the New Jersey State Bar and the Pennsylvania State Bar in 2013, followed by the New York State Bar in 2018. In 2017, the New Jersey Supreme Court approved his designation as Certified Civil Trial Attorney, after demonstrating sufficient character, ability and competence required to be a highly qualified specialist. This designation is awarded to less than 2% of New Jersey lawyers.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Cohen has litigated and successfully settled cases ranging from medical malpractice and product liability, to accidents resulting in long-term disability. He continues to concentrate his practice in litigating personal injuries and commercial matters in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts and federal courts.
