Peter's work focuses on intellectual property issues in the areas of chemistry, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. Peter received his Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from Yale University in 2003. His work in Professor John L. Wood's laboratory focused on synthetic studies toward biologically active marine natural products. Following graduate school Peter worked in the drug discovery group at the Schering-Plough Research Institute. His role as a medicinal chemist focused on efforts directed toward new treatments for various CNS mediated indications.
