
Petar Petkov
Petar is a Solicitor Advocate with experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional and high-value commercial disputes before the English courts and under a variety of institutional arbitration rules (LCIA, ICC, ICSID, Swiss Rules, UNCITRAL and ad hoc). His work mostly involves a cross-border element, in particular relating to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan (and other CIS countries) and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Linkilaw, Petar worked at commercial litigation boutiques and a US law firm in London (UK) and as an assistant to a prominent Swiss arbitrator in Geneva (Switzerland). Petar holds a Master in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva, Switzerland) and a double degree (Bachelor of Laws/Maîtrise) in English and French law from the University of Leicester (UK) and the University of Strasbourg (France).
In addition to English, Petar is fluent in Bulgarian, Russian and French and has working knowledge of Ukrainian.
