Persephone Kristian Shelton

As a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Ms. Shelton is admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia, and the Georgia Supreme Court. She is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Douglas County Chamber. Most notably, she was the recipient of the 2020 Award of Achievement for Service for her role as co-chair of the Solo and Small Firm Committee for the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.

Born and raised in Albany Georgia, prior to receiving her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University, Ms. Shelton received a B.S. and M.B.A. from Albany State University. As a resident of Douglasville for over fifteen years she remains committed to the improvement and welfare of her community. In her spare time, Ms. Shelton enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and listening to jazz music.
