Biography

Paul Killeen has served since July of 2006 as the Senior Vice President of Litigation for the Golden Living Companies. In that role, he has been responsible for the management of a self-insured portfolio of resident care cases across the nation, and has headed up both the Risk Management function and the team of attorneys who provided daily healthcare law advice to a chain of 300 skilled nursing facilities. Over the course of 11 years, he has managed the settlement of more than 1100 cases, many with significant settlement value. Prior to taking this in-house position, Paul was a trial lawyer and partner in Holland & Knight, a full-service national firm with a robust litigation practice. He served as the Practice Area Leader for the litigation team, more than fifty lawyers and legal assistants, in the firm’s Boston office. He is an honors graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and of Boston College Law School, and a member of the Bars of Massachusetts and Maryland.
