I have been dedicated to practicing family law exclusively for nearly 15 years. I understand that individuals facing divorce or family law disputes seek not only legal guidance but also support. I adopt a proactive and attentive approach in my representation, and my clients recognize my determination, passion, and effectiveness both in and outside the courtroom.
As a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County, I have litigated and negotiated hundreds of family law matters throughout Maryland in both the District and Circuit courts. Besides trial work, I have also represented family law clients in appellate matters at both the Appellate Court of Maryland and the Supreme Court of Maryland.
While I have experience in other areas of law, including real estate, immigration, bankruptcy, criminal defense, and contract law, I integrate this knowledge into my family law cases, adeptly handling the various issues that can arise. Although I often strive for settlements to save time, energy, and money, there are instances where settlement is not feasible or does not serve my client’s interests optimally. In such cases, I rely on my experience and tenacity to advocate vigorously for my client’s interests in court.
Before joining Silverman Thompson in 2025, I was a partner at a boutique family law firm in Annapolis. Beyond my legal practice, I serve on the Anne Arundel County Council, representing District 3, and I am active in Hope Springs Church in Pasadena.
